Philitelic Stamp Cancellation

A special Commemorative Stamp Cancellation was held at the Fire Station October 25, 1996 from 4 to 7 PM. The design features the Department's new logo.

Centennial Banquet and Firefighter's Reunion

In the evening, a banquet and reunion for all present and past Good Thunder Firemen and their spouses was held at the station. We served about 180 people with the help of our teenage children as waiters and waitresses, after which we were entertained by Karaoke by Jona. We all had a good time reminiscing!

On Saturday, an Open House of the new station was held followed by an dance that evening, attended by about 500 people. All in all, it was a great weekend and let us catch up with lots of old friends!
