Help HARRY  
If you agree that Harry's issues are vital to District 24A, and to Minnesotans, then you will want to do your part to send him to St. Paul to lower taxes and reduce regulations, to improve education, to stop Federal and State mandates (especially unfunded ones!), and to improve safety while protecting your Constitutional rights.

Here are a few of the ways that you can help - and make a difference.

 Contributions 
Check out the information on the  $50 state contribution refund  below.  You can effectively loan money to Harry's campaign which will help him run a winning campaign, and Minnesota state law allows you to get $50 back.
Your contribution is an investment in the future - it will more than pay for itself in reduced taxes when the Republicans gain a majority in the House (4 seats away).
X Yard Signs 
Harry's sign in your yard is a sign that you want lower taxes, better schools, and safer streets too.  Display it proudly!

 Literature Drops 
Plan to walk with a friend, or with a group of new friends.  It's great exercise and and can be a lot of fun.  Contact us for details.

 Telephoning 
Help spread the word and get Harry elected.  Tell five friends about the 3500 reasons to vote for Harry; ask them to tell five more.  3500 - the tax over-charge for the past two years $$$$$$$$$$ would have been returned to the taxpayers if a Republican majority had been in the House of Representatives.

 Mailing preparation 
Work with a group of congenial supporters.  It's more fun that way!

 Door Knocking  
It's great exercise!  Get out with the candidate and other supporters.  Meet more people, and have fun!

State Contribution Refund 
If you are a Minnesota resident, and file an income tax return, Minnesota State law allows you to "loan" $50 per person to Harry's campaign and
 
 
GET YOUR MONEY BACK!
Here's how it works:

Contributions will be refunded by the State of Minnesota, to residents who file an income tax return, of up to $50 per person ($100 per couple.)  You may apply only once each year within these limits.  You can, in effect, "loan" this money to Harry's campaign.

TIP:  To ensure the maximum refund, send in all your receipts together.) 

Here's all you need to do:

Write your $50 ($100 per couple) check to Petersen for the People and mail it to:

Our Treasurer, Elwin Gunnink, will promptly send you a donation receipt and application for refund.

You may file the application immediately with the State (but note the TIP above)

The State will send your refund in approximately 3-6 weeks.

With nothing to loose, and everything to gain, you can loan this money to Harry's campaign and help him fight for YOU!  If you have already used your campaign refund limit, please consider a donation to Harry's campaign anyway.  Any amount will be welcome.  Your help will make the difference!
