Summary
of the Equalist Philosophy
|
Our country became great by following the principles given to us by the
genius of our founding fathers, guaranteeing ' . . . the right to life,
liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Thus we
strongly value the rights and liberties of each individual citizen:
Basic
Beliefs
*
|
|
| * |
We value and celebrate the intrinsic worth of every fair-minded citizen.
|
*
|
We affirm the right of each citizen to be proud of their country, their
heritage, their race, and their gender - and denounce those who profess
otherwise.
|
*
|
We are all Americans first and foremost, thus we oppose division and stereotyping
of our citizens.
|
*
|
Every good citizen has worth, thus we condemn hate mongers and guilt mongering
groups that attack and stereotype others, whether the bigots are "politically
correct" Social Marxists or white hate groups.
|
*
|
Much of our greatness comes from our "traditional" values. We denounce
school programs which indoctrinate "politically correct" Social Marxist
values, guilt, stereotyping, and division while condemning parents' values
and traditions.
|
| * |
We believe in fairly helping those in need, but never by hurting innocent
others.
|
| * |
The scales of justice must be level for all.
 |
It is IMPOSSIBLE...to
raise one side of the scale without lowering the other side. |
We realize that the rights of some groups can NOT
be elevated without the rights of other groups not so favored being
lowered.
Thus, there must be equal rights for
all citizens!
|
Who
Are "Equalists"
Equalists are
good and fair-minded people who respect the Constitutional rights and liberties
of INDIVIDUALS. We are NOT a political, religious or other formal organization.
Unlike extremists, we represent the majority of Americans. Both Ronald
Reagan and Dr. Martin Luther King promoted Equalist philosophy, as did
the Union soldiers who fought and died so everyone could be free.
Equalists are
patriotic middle Americans who want to reaffirm individual freedom, rights,
and pride in ourselves, our traditions, and our country. We believe
in peaceful order through the rule of law based on the Constitution plus
amendments as written and the Declaration of Independence. Laws must be
strengthened to control only the criminals among us (with full due process),
but must protect not limit or harm law-abiding citizens. There are laws
which should be changed - but by votes through political process; they
should not be ignored or broken. Thus we strongly OPPOSE civil disobedience,
"citizen justice," violent confrontations, riots, and terrorism.
We also strongly oppose "politically correct" stereotyping, social engineering,
self-righteous Social Marxist revisionist history, guimongering, hate-mongering,
and race or gender preference.
Equalists by
definition, DO NOT favor one race or gender over another. Thus we
cannot be racists, sexists, supremacists, apologists, or elitist social
engineers. We MUST oppose any group which holds innocent people down
or demands undeserved privilege.
Equalists
believe that we are NOT a racist,
violent society. Rather we are a good, noble society made up of individuals,
not stereotypes, with only a small proportion of evil people. (This extends
across all races and both genders.) The difference is liberating! Instead
of accepting false accusations of guilt-mongers who claim "we are all guilty
(of whatever)," we can be proud of ourselves as good, fair-minded citizens
who give and deserve full equality, justice, and freedom to work toward
achieving our dreams regardless of our race or gender - - judging people
by what they DO, not how they were BORN. Instead of being fearful for the
future, and blaming ourselves, we can optimistically forge a new tomorrow
as one people, knowing that all we have to do to build a better country
is to control the evil individuals among us. The rest will be the natural
outcome of all free men and women working together.
How
Do We Define Equality?
"We hold these truths to
be self-evident, that all men are created equal..."
*
|
under the law, protecting all (law-abiding) citizens
|
| * |
based on the U.S. constitution and the Declaration of Independence
|
| * |
without regard for the package they were born into
|
| * |
with equal responsibilities to respect fellow citizens and our laws
|
| * |
with equal opportunity to try to do their best free of government suppression
|
| * |
with equal opportunity, but not guaranteed equal results ("Equality of
results" destroys equality under law and equality of opportunity)
|
| * |
thus we strongly support affirmative equality for all instead of
affirmative action which favors only "politically correct" groups
and discriminates against the rest
|
| * |
thus the bottom line: Either everyone is equal,
or NO ONE IS
|
There
are four core beliefs concerning equality:
| EQUALIST |
people are individuals with equal rights. Only their
actions can change this - not race or gender |
| PREJUDICED |
exhibit race/gender preferences, but not fully racist |
| RACIST/SEXIST |
intentionally holds down/harms/blames/despises certain
people solely because of their race or gender |
| APATHETIC |
don't know or care. |
If middle Americans don't openly discuss
and address the growing problems of race, gender, stereotyping, and unfair
legal privileges, our country will be torn apart.
Commentary
By it's definition, those who internalize and practice the Equalist philosophy
CAN NOT stereotype, CAN NOT be racist, sexist, or bigoted. WE MUST
treasure and respect the rights and liberties of each individual citizen,
judging them by their skills, actions, and their respect for others.
Although we have newly formalized the term Equalist, this noble philosophy
can be found in the Golden rule, in most Christian and other religions,
in the Declaration of Independence, in the U.S. Constitution, and in proud
American traditions. We DON'T want power to control or condemn others
- we want to restore power and pride to individuals.
Many fear that our country is coming apart under hate driven by politically
correct stereotyping. But Equalists and the Equalist philosophy -
and only the Equalist philosophy - will bring us back together to
build an even greater future "with liberty and justice for all."

Take
The Equalist Test
Answer the following honestly
|
Equalist? -
Apathetic?- Prejudiced?
- Racist?
|
*
|
Will you grant to citizens of all races and genders the same legal rights
you demand for yourself and your favored*
race/gender?
|
*
|
Are you willing to put yourself and your favored*
race/gender under the same obligations and restrictions you want placed
on others?
|
*
|
Would you try** to treat
others the same and react the same to what they say or do, if their
race or gender were reversed?
|
*
|
Do you try to** judge
people as individuals, based on what they do rather than how they were
born, and do you refuse to stereotype?
|
Evaluate
your answers:
| * |
If you can truly answer "yes" to all
four questions, you are an Equalist.
Be proud! The majority of Americans
are, or at least try to be (otherwise the majority of Americans would never
have fought the Civil War or passed civil rights laws.)
|
| * |
If you answer "yes" to only two or three -
your thinking is
prejudiced.
Please try to judge individuals,
not stereotypes.
|
| * |
If you answer "yes" to only one question,
or none - your philosophy
is
racist/sexist.
No matter how good or noble
you think yourself or your goals to be, you are thinking and behaving like
those you condemn.
|
| * |
If you are still disinterested -
you are
apathetic.
But prejudice and discrimination (including affirmative action) is tearing
our country apart. Your future and the futures of your children is at stake.
|
|
|
|
* We
use "favored race/gender" instead of "your race/gender" because some white
citizens who preach white guilt have tried so hard not to be racist that
they disfavor their own race. But they don't realize that they are now
racist and prejudiced against their own children!
|
|
**"try
to" recognizes that all groups' natural emotions of envy and resentment
have been strengthened by growing divisive attitudes and government policies.
