The MPOC has been active in the Mankato area since its founding in 1993. The club meets regularly for business and monthly programs, plans and leads various outings, and works on special projects such as the Minnesota River Valley Spring Clean-Up and the Blue Earth County River Mapping Project. The MPOC sponsors a variety of paddling and other outdoor activities,

The MPOC meets for business meetings at 7:00 pm the first Tuesday of each month at the Belgrade United Methodist church in North Mankato. Programs are often conducted monthly as well, check the calendar for more information. Membership dues  are  $15.00 per year due January 1st.
