Who are we

   Beresford Area Radio Flyers R/C club is a local AMA chapter in Beresford, SD, USA. Beresford is located on I-29 about 30 miles south of Sioux Falls, SD in the south east corner of the state. Our flying field is located on the Northern side of Beresford.

   Pilot camaraderie and the enjoyment of model aviation is what the BARF Club is about. BARF members are from Beresford and surrounding communities, from Irene to Sioux Center and Sioux Falls to Sioux City. Spectators are invited to come out and watch, questions are welcome, and a good time is expected.

 
Meetings

The BARF Club meetings are held on the second Sunday of the month.
   •     From September through May the club meetings are held at 2:00 PM.
   •     From June through August the club meetings are held at 4:00 PM.

Meetings are at the BARF Club field or at the Beresford Library.  See the Coming Event for the currently scheduled meetings and location.

 

NOTICE!

To fly at the BARF field a current AMA membership is required, however, membership to the local chapter is not required. The field is open to all AMA members. No flying on Monday nights during the summer, when the Gun Club has its meets.
