Karaoke Contest

Where: Mully's On Madison in Mankato, Minnesota

When: Qualify Every Sunday for ten weeks starting October 23rd

Mankato Karaoke Singing Contest Ancient History

A contest was held at The Caledonia every month, with monthly winners and a Grand Championship at the end of the year. The Caledonia went out of business in September of 2000. The last Grand Champions crowned in December 1999 were:

First Place: Becky Ann McBeth
Second Place: Quazi M. Jahangir
Third Place: Norman H. Kietzer

Becky Ann and Norman also won the first and last ever
Karaoke Duet Contest held at
The Caledonia in 2000.

Patrick Mulligan - the manager of the late Caledonia - now has his own bar in Mankato Mully's On Madison with Honky Tonk Karaoke every Sunday night, every Wednesday night, and every Thursday night.
