with a local author/artist, Nancy Martin-Rouse, on a coloring book based
about Habitat and the dreams we make come true. The book is entitled
"Hearts and Hands, A Child's Story of Dreams and Dream-Makers". In
the author's words, "The book gives children a peek into the world of
poverty, with the promise of change." There are many stories of families
in need and their dreams, as well as the dream of the Fullers' and the
results we all know and love. The book is written in rhyme and fully
illustrated. It is created for children of all ages and is very sensitive and
emotional. "The book is designed as a tribute to the many thousands of
volunteers of Habitat." It proves that dreams do come true.
