The team leading the weekend ...

... consists of one or two priests or sisters, lay adults, and teenagers who have previously participated on an A-TEC weekend. One of the adults and a priest or sister serve as the main directors for the weekend.

The team is formed several weeks before the A-TEC weekend. They meet together to get to know each other, to make preparations, and to pray for the success of the weekend. Many other adults and young people are asked to pray for all those who will be involved in the weekend.

There are youth and adults from many different areas and towns in and near the Diocese of New Ulm who participate in each A-TEC. A-TEC is designed for the maturing young person: juniors and seniors in high school, college aged men and women, and other adults. Many of the adults who first experienced an A-TEC weekend simply as a participant have been so moved (just as the young people are) that they join A-TEC as a team member on a later A-TEC weekend.
