The Court Jester is a story teller - a nobody - perhaps, even a fool. St Paul in his First letter to the Corinthians says, "You should not fool yourself. If any of you think that you are wise by this world's standards, you should become a fool, in order to be really wise. For what this world considers to be wisdom is nonsense in God's sight. As the scripture says, 'God traps the wise in their cleverness;' and another scripture says, "The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are worthless." No one, then, should boast about what human beings can do. ..." - verses 3:18-21.

St Paul continues in his Second letter to the Corinthians on the topic of being a fool for Christ. "I wish you would tolerate me, even when I am a bit foolish. Please do! ... I repeat: no one should think that I am a fool. But if you do, at least accept me as a fool, just so I will have a little to boast of. Of course what I am saying now is not what the Lord would have me say; in this matter of boasting I am really talking like a fool. But since there are so many who will boast for merely human reasons, I will do the same." - verses 11:1, 16-18.
