Letters to Sarah - from God, A Gift of Love, met its publish release date of February 14, 1998, Valentine's Day. On Valentine's Day, I presented to Sarah, Copy #1 of the First Edition of the book. The following day, I presented Copy #2 of the First Edition of the book to Amy who has been praying for me (and later, for Sarah) since early December 1996. (Yes, 1996).

In any spiritual endeavor, one needs a powerful prayer base to build upon. Based upon some things that Amy shared with me on a retreat that we worked together in December 1996, I felt that it was time for me to tell Sarah how I felt about things occurring in her life. I did that with the first letter that I wrote to her in March 1997. She wrote a beautiful response to that letter ... and so the letter writing continued ... . Other people who became aware of my letter writing added their prayers to the prayer base to help me establish a proper loving relationship with Sarah.

The book, Letters to Sarah - from God, A Gift of Love, is more than a collection of letters written to Sarah by her Uncle Dave. The first letter that I wrote to her was from me, her uncle. But following letters written to her were from many different persons in my computer handwriting. Some were from a higher power, some were from a court jester, one was from a humble servant of the King. "Whoever" needed to write the message that day did it. The book is a book of meditation if you are looking for one. There are messages of prophecy in it. (Prophecy is using the words of God to give His message.) The book is a book of healing. -- You might say that this paragraph has a lot of powerful things for me to say. "Who am I to say that it is all of that? I am only the Court Jester, a storyteller, perhaps - even a fool."

A follow-up book, Letters to Sarah - from God, Growing in the Lord, was released on Pentecost Sunday, May 31, 1998, with the first copy again going to Sarah. This book talks about "Oneness in Being" (Body of Christ) and relationships. Some of the insights on relationships and communications in those relationships are drawn from journal entries made by me in 1986.

A third book, Letters to Sarah - from God, Hearing His Call, tells about how I feel God calling me at this point of time in my life. It is hoped that this book can be released on Father's Day, June 20, 1999.

My letter writing to Sarah continues. The letters have been and are being sent to Sarah. It is Sarah's call whether they will remain personal or whether they will be given as gift to God's people. I will continue to write as the Spirit leads ... one day at a time.
