GOD: A COMMUNITY OF LOVE
The second day, Rise Day, begins with a focus on the fact that God always loves us. God calls us to share in that love in our own lives. This talk focuses on the images of God we have.
CHRISTIAN LIFE
As we come to recognize and experience God's love in our own lives, we don't just keep soaking up that love but we respond to God's love by sharing God's love, by living a Christian life.
CHURCH: PEOPLE OF GOD
As we live our Christian life, we don't do so in private. We need support and we must give support to others as we all seek to live our faith. The Church is the community to which Jesus calls us to be involved in. Each person has been given special gifts. Everyone is called to share these gifts within the Church for the good of all.
SIGNS
We use many signs to communicate ideas and messages. God also uses signs to communicate with us (bible, saraments, creation, Jesus). The greatest sign of God's love is Jesus. The greatest sign of what Jesus gives us is the Eucharist. The primary focus of this talk is on the sacramental signs of God's love for us and its presence in our lives. Mass follows this talk.
