There are a variety of Internet software brands on the market
today. Internet software generally includes connection, browsing,
e-mail, newsgroup software plus reference. Connection software is
required to use your account, and it must be TCP/IP compatible
(the software package will indicate this). HickoryTech Internet offers the
following software packages:

The following minimum hardware requirements must be met to use the software listed above.
IBM PC or compatible:
486DX 66MHZ PC or higher, 16MB of RAM, 45-110MB free hard drive
space (depending on installation options), Windows '95 or later,
modem (we strongly recommend a modem with a minimum of 28,800 bits
per second.)
Macintosh: Power PC with System 7.6.1 or higher,
16MB of RAM, 40-90MB free hard drive space, modem (we strongly
recommend a modem with a minimum of 28,800 bits per second.)
