DNS Hosting - $5.00/month
Hosting of DNS records without web space. This fee is waived if you also have a web hosting package or Domain Email Hosting from HickoryTech Internet. Set-up fee applicable (see below).
DNS is an acronym for Domain Name Server or Domain Name System. DNS is a database which links
human-readable domain names, such as hickorytech.net, to numerical computer IP addresses, such
as 216.114.192.10. Behaving as the “internet phone book,” DNS is essential for every domain name
on the network.

Domain Email Hosting - $10.00/month base
The $10.00/mo. fee is waived if you also have a web hosting package with HickoryTech Internet. The customer must still pay a per email charge. Set-up fee applicable (see below).

Filtered Domain Email Hosting - $10.00/month base
HickoryTech also offers junk email filtering and email virus scanning. With this service, emails that appear to be junk or virus-infected are redirected to a password-protected online Message Center
where they can be reviewed and retrieved if you wish. Users control the level of sensitivity, specify what kinds of subject matter should be filtered and specify senders who are always or never filtered.

A $35.00 set-up fee is applicable. Email accounts for a domain must either be ALL FILTERED or ALL NON-FILTERED.

Email Aliasing - $2.00 per alias/month
An alias account is a type of email "pointer" that receives email at a specified address and redirects it someplace else. For example, you
can create a "sales" list alias that redirects all email to a different email address or list of addresses, even if they are not hosted by HickoryTech.

DNS/Domain Email Set-up Fee - $25.00 (One-time Charge)
This fee will be charged when you set up either DNS Hosting and/or Domain Email. Customers will only be charged $25.00 if both DNS and email are set up at the same time.

SSL Set-up Fee - $50.00 (One-time Charge)
Fee to set up a security certificate for a website. Customers must purchase their own certificate from a certificate vendor before setup can be completed.

DNS/Web Space Changes - $25.00 per incident
This fee will be charged if any changes are made to a DNS record or if you are switching between web hosting packages.
