Habitat for Humanity of South Central Minnesota - Mankato Chapter
Habitat Place is the first five unit subdivision for the Mankato Area Habitat For Humanity. Habitat Place, when completed, will house families 28, 29, 30, 31, and 32 for the Mankato Chapter of Habitat For Humanity. Habitat Place helps our affiliate move along in our quest to provide decent affordable housing. It is located on the corner of Stoltzman and Stadium Roads. A total of 1.37 acres is plotted into 5 lots providing housing for 5 families. The proposed project budget for "Habitat Place" is approximately $425,000. The community will benefit from the homes through an increase in the local tax base, less blighted land areas and more affordable housing options. To date over 23 local businesses have donated over $100,000 to "Habitat Place". HFH needs your help!
